1. Introduction
Welcome to Tour De Pondy.
This website and the event are owned and organized by CATAMARAN BREWING (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED
(hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering for our cycle race/event,
you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility and Health Disclaimer
- Age Limit: Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. Minors (12–17 years) may participate only with a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Physical Fitness: By registering, you certify that you are physically fit and have sufficiently trained for participation in this event. You agree that the Organizer is not responsible for any health issues, injuries, or medical emergencies that arise during the event.
3. Event Rules and Safety
- Mandatory Gear: Wearing a safety helmet is mandatory for all riders. Participants without a helmet will be disqualified and removed from the course.
- Traffic Rules: The event takes place on open roads (Pondicherry to Chennai route). Participants must strictly adhere to all traffic regulations and follow the instructions of marshals and police.
- Conduct: We reserve the right to disqualify any participant behaving in an unruly manner, under the influence of alcohol/drugs, or endangering the safety of others.
4. Registration and Payment
- Accuracy: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information during registration (including emergency contact details).
- Payment: We accept payments via UPI, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Net Banking through secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., PhonePe).
- Non-Transferable: Registrations are personal and non-transferable to another person unless explicitly authorized by the Organizer in writing.
5. Waiver and Release of Liability
You acknowledge that cycling events involve inherent risks. You hereby release, waive, and discharge
CATAMARAN BREWING (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, sponsors, and partners from any liability
for accidents, injuries, loss of personal property, or death that may occur during the event.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Organizer be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability is limited to the registration fee paid by you.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection
with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Puducherry.
